St. Margaret's
St. Margaret's is a small village surrounded by a mixture of arable and pasture land with sweeps of oak and ash and lovely views from the higher ground. It is particularly noted for the ancient church, at the east end of which is a Tudor rood loft dating from around the 1520s, with painted and gilded screen, described as 'one of the wonders of Herefordshire'. The exterior of the tower has recently been re-boarded and the wall texts restore.
The countryside is ideal for walking year round or enjoying local activities such as quad biking.
